First Aid in Schools

This course is designed specifically for teachers, teaching assistants, cleaners and school support staff. It provides a practical introduction to basic first aid, equipping staff with the knowledge and confidence to respond to common injuries and medical emergencies in a school setting. This course covers key topics including how to assess a situation, perform CPR, deal with choking, bleeding, burns and understand common childhood conditions such as asthma, allergies, and seizures.

Assessments

Delegates will be continuously assessed throughout the course, to ensure they have met the learning outcomes. Learning objectives are also reinforced through written answers.
