First Aid for the Whole Family

This course is suitable for the whole family, with children aged 7 and up. The course covers the core elements of emergency first aid, how to deal with an emergency and how to deliver first aid in these scenarios. There are multiple practical elements, ensuring the whole family remain engaged and have fun whilst they are learning. 

Course Content

· How to carry out an assessment

· Recovery position

· Contact the Emergency Services

· How to carry out CPR

· How to use an AED

· Identifying heart attacks/Cardiac Arrest

· Drowning

· Choking

· Serious Bleeding

· Spinal Injuries

· Anaphylactic shock

Assessments

Delegates will be continuously assessed throughout the course, to ensure they have met the learning outcomes. 

Location

This course is available to be delivered throughout Essex, in the comfort of your own home.

Course Requirements

• TV with HDMI or casting ability for powerpoint references
• At least 5m² of free floor space for practical elements
