This Paediatric First Aid course provides comprehensive training on emergency care for infants and children, covering essential skills. The course includes both theoretical knowledge and practical hands on training. Participants will learn to assess situations quickly and provide immediate care. This course is ideal for childcare providers, teachers, parents and anyone responsible for children's well being. 

Course Content

· Dealing with an unresponsive child or infant

· CPR and use of AED

· Cardiac Arrest

· Bleeding

· Choking

· Shock

· Seizures & febrile convulsions

· Drowning

· Minor injuries

· Bites and stings

· Spinal injuries

· Dislocations and fractures

· Burns and scalds

· Head injuries

· Temperature related illnesses

· Asthma

· Anaphylactic shock

· Meningitis

· Croup

Assessments

Delegates will be continuously assessed throughout the course, to ensure they have met the learning outcomes. Learning objectives are also reinforced through written answers.
